Carlin & Ashley - Chateau des Charmes Wedding - Niagara on the Lake Wedding Photography

Carlin and Ashley’s Chateau des Charmes wedding was just spectacular. They were married on a lovely fall day, and even though it poured rain (as in literal cats and dogs), it certainly did not dampen the mood!

You may remember Ashley and Carlin from their lovely engagement session at the Scarborough Bluffs (which you can see here). I have personally known Ashley for a number of years, as we used to be work colleagues. So, I was really looking forward to their wedding day and it certainly did not disappoint! They have such a great group of friends and family who made their day so lovely. There were so many moments that I may, or may not have, been literally crying behind my camera, like when Ashley’s dad saw her in her dress for the first time or when she walked down the aisle towards her love to the instrumental version of “Oceans” (Side note: this song has meant so much to me this year. So when Ashley chose this as her processional song, I, along with the rest of the guests, was trying very hard to not be a total mess…thanks Ash, haha 😉 ). Anyhow, their day had some equally thrilling moments. Such as, the bridal party dancing up the aisle in the recessional to Pharrell’s “Happy”, and Ashley and Carlin’s amazing first dance mash up. And let’s not forget Ashley’s first dance with her dear father.
